Beata is mainly interested in travel and street photography.
Why? Travelling is one of her big passions and she has been travelling extensively for business and leisure, mainly in Europe, Thailand, Israel and South America, and on her travels she discovered the “universal language” of photography. And aside from bizarre landscapes and unusual places she is always interested in people and their small and big stories: “For me, taking pictures means seeing and observing.”
The photographs for her series "Kathedrale der Mobilität" (Cathedral of Mobility) were made in Stuttgart’s central railway station which for herself, being a long-time commuter between Stuttgart and Mannheim, has a special meaning. With her intimate and yet foreign view the ordinary becomes special and the station a place of great emotions.
