Tangible, no, abstract – unambiguous, no ambiguous, that’s the effect of the motto I have chosen for this series of photographs.

It confuses. It poses questions. And it does so consciously.

Which is mirrored in the photographs.

They show paths which, in a post-modern sense, are everything at the same time – start and end, order and chaos, path and detour – a labyrinth. Life. Labyrinthian paths of life.

In each photograph I try to translate into images the labyrinth as a metaphor for the human existence. This does not clear up the ambiguity and it does not give any answers. It simply invites the viewer to take the image in.
